Offering documented supervisions, safe exchanges and transportation to families in need.
At Pivotal Foundations, we believe that every child deserves a safe environment to nourish family relationships, this is what we ensure. Our goal is to provide a supportive atmosphere for families to explore their strengths and work through challenges to develop and maintain the strongest possible bond that they need to thrive.
We offer a full range of services to families in need of supervision with their children. We pride ourselves on professional communication while helping to set up and organize visitations for your family to fulfill your court order, during what can be such a difficult time.
Your services can include safe child exchanges (for safety concerns or no contact orders), transportation of child(ren) to and from visit location, and line of sight and sound supervision. We then deliver an unbiased and thorough finalized visit report, factually documented to paint the clearest picture possible of visitation happenings. This can then be distributed to all visit parties and their attorneys, to be obtained for court purposes.
Pivotal Foundations, LLC was established with a pure heart and passion for children and families. It's ownership carries years of experience serving the family court system through the Department of Children, Youth and Families in visitation services. Due to this we hold ourselves to a higher standard and are recognized in the courts as a highly trusted professional neutral party. We have thrived working in a mandated setting alongside parties on all sides, to include Social Workers, Casa/Guardian Ad Litems, parenting coaches, and attorneys. The same prerequisites and trainings are obtained, as that of state requirements and our supervisors attend constant ongoing trainings as well as maintain up to date certifications.
Our team of experienced visitation supervisors are here first and foremost for the safety of your child. We are passionate about helping families improve their relationships while strengthening their bonds with their kiddos. We are committed to clear, open communication with our clients to maximize progress and growth.
Our consultations are always free.
The first step of the process is for each party to complete an intake, listed below. The intake fee is $75.
Visit hours are billed at a rate of $60 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Payment is due twenty-four hours prior to the scheduled visit. If transportation is requested, transport time will be billed as well as mileage, at the national rate of $0.67 per mile (subject to change). For mileage driven in excess of 30 minutes round trip, the additional time will be billed, rounded to half hour increments.
Please feel free to fill out the "Contact Us" portion below, if you cannot find an answer to your question. We look forward to helping!
Our services are based in the the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, Washington, and Olympia Metro Areas. We will commute to the following counties: Multnomah, Clark, Cowlitz, Clackamas, Washington, Columbia, Mason and Thurston.
Take a breathe, we are here to help! We know this can be a rough process and we are here to help get visitation services set up and educate you with open communication along the way. The next step is to fill out an intake form (please see the blue "Complete Intake" button above). If at any time you are unable to move forward in this process please feel free to give us a call.
After the Intake is complete and collected information is reviewed, all parties will be contacted by Pivotal Foundations to answer any further questions and to schedule visitations as well as discuss locations. For parties with existing no contact orders, safe exchanges occur when the custodial parents drops of the child(ren) 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the visit, and visiting parent arrives no earlier than said start time. Same applies for the conclusion of each visit. Transportation services are also available upon request.
After the conclusion of the visit, the finalized visit report is emailed to all applicable parties.
Pivotal Foundations strives to be flexible while maintaining a stable schedule for your child. If you need to cancel or reschedule your visitation, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. It is of the upmost importance that we remain in compliance with your court order, if cancellation is on the child's behalf, visit hours will be made up to the visiting party by either adding additional visit(s) or by extending session hours until hours owed are caught up. If cancellation within the 24 hour period should occur on the visiting parties behalf, hours will not be made up and payment will not be reimbursed or credited. If visiting party does not show up within a 15 minute window of scheduled start time, this is considered a "no-show", and the full fee for that visit session will be charged.
Payment for each visit session is sent via a Venmo request and is due upon receipt. Payment must be collected 24 hours in advance of scheduled start time for visit to occur. Pivotal Foundations accepts payment by cash (to be paid at the visit prior), as well as Venmo.
